GPL Book Clubs

Greenwood Public Library has several book clubs. Join in on the fun and find a book club that interests you! Click on each book club titles to see what books we are reading next. All clubs meet at the library unless otherwise stated. 

Have you ever noticed how fun it is to talk to another reader about the books they're reading or that you've both read? Instead of waiting for those rare moments to happen, join the Booklover's Book Club on the third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. for great conversation with others who love books as much as you do!Call Susie Schachte at 881-1953 for more information.

Come join a diverse group of book-a-holics for lively discussion, refreshments, and lots of laughter! Primetime Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome. Call Cheryl Dobbs at 885-5036 for more information. 

Would you like the opportunity to read and discuss all kinds of mysteries? The Mystery Book Club meets the first Monday of each month at 1pm.Call Susie Schachte at 881-1953 for more information.


Library Kid's Club
This is for children in kindergarten through 2nd grade who are interested in fun book discussions that include games, activities, and snacks. Call Children's Services at 885-5035 for more information.


This is for 3rd through 5th grade girls and their mothers. Extend your habit of sharing books with your daughter all through her school-age years. Read the same book together and meet to compare notes with each other, from one generation to another. We’ll share a light snack and enjoy facilitated discussions, fun quizzes, games and crafts. Each girl must be accompanied by a female parent or female adult caretaker. Registration is required.When you sign up, be sure to register both the participating adult AND child.
