Jane's Comments: "Life and Love with the World’s Worst Dog” is the subtitle to this hilarious book about a goofy dog and his owner’s journey of life – chewed tables and all. It is a great look at the reason we love our dogs and why they drive us crazy. Anyone who has ever had a well loved pet will love reading the antics of Marley and his owner.
I especially loved this book because my own yellow laborador retriever “Gus” is Marley’s twin. To be reminded of why we put up with all the hair, slobber and chewing – in such a funny and insightful way, was very enjoyable. It reminded me why we love Gus so much and how big a part of our family he has become. The writing is witty, contemporary, fastpaced and flat out hilarious. I listened to it on audio in the car on a road trip with my family and my husband kept wondering why I was laughing out loud all the time. Check Status
