Join us for the Life-Size Lock-In!

Emily's Comments: The Library’s new Teen Advisory Board, a group of teens who plan programs and film wacky videos, is hosting the Life-Size Lock-In this Friday night, January 29th, from 6-11:30pm. Teens in grades 5-12 can play GIANT versions of their favorite games including Monopoly, Sorry!, Jeopardy, Family Feud, and Wheel of Fortune, and we mean GIANT! Prizes will be awarded at the end of the night to the individuals who have earned the most points. The night will get started with a hilarious Photo Scavenger Hunt where teens will complete a series of tasks throughout the library in teams, all documented with photos.

The Life-Size Lock-In is a fundraiser; all proceeds will go toward the purchase of books for the Young Adult and Graphic Novel collections. Entry into the fun affair is only $5. Snacks and drinks will be provided. All participants must fill out a permission form in order to be admitted into the festivities. So spread the word! A night of fun after hours at the library for only $5…and it’s for a good cause!
