The library is a great place to start if your resolutions include:
1. Learn new computer skills - we offer a wide range of beginner through advanced free computer classes. New in 2009 is our Tech Savvy class series where you can learn all about podcasting, blogging, online job searching, Google Apps, and more! Check out greenwoodlibrary.us for more information!
2. Expand your reading and keep a record - make friends with the librarians and staff at GPL to find out what our favorite books include. Goodreads is free to join, and it's fun to see what others think of the books you read. I always am getting ideas on new books to try.
3. Learn something new - learn a new craft, explore a new topic, start writing essays or your first book. All these exciting opportunities can begin at GPL. Check out our calendar of events to find out about upcoming programs like the Writers Conference, monthly knitting group, book clubs, special events, and more! There is a wealth of opportunity for those interested. Or, you can always ask us! We would love to let you know what's happening!
