The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs

Kendra's Comments: The Friday Night Knitting Club is a bestseller worth all the praise it has recently received. Kate Jacobs has written a literary fiction book worth reading. This book follows the life of Georgia Walker, owner of a yarn store in New York City. She decides to loosen up and allow her daughter, employees, and some regular customers to start meeting on Friday nights to knit and get to know each other. They form a support group of sorts and she finds their friendship means more to her than she ever dreamed possible. Love and relationships of all kinds are explored in this story. Inspirational and moving. It made me cry as well as laugh out loud at times. Check Status
