Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn

Kendra's Comments: This is a clever little book! Imagine living on an island where one by one, the letters of the alphabet were abolished and you were forced to limit your communication or alter your ability to speak and write. If you did not obey, you were sent off the island. This is the basic premise of Ella Minnow Pea. This book is so smart. I am sure I did not catch half the intended meanings and words that were a part of the story. The book is written in the form of letters (epistolary) from one islander to another. I would suggest this book to anyone wanting a fun, quick read. Check Status at GPL
